Aneesh Sharma

Aneesh Sharma is an intern in the University of Georgia’s football program, helping ensure that student-athletes have positive and informative visits to the campus. Through his efforts, the athletes learn about opportunities for achieving their full potential in the top-tier collegiate program. Aneesh Sharma has also interned with The 33rd Team. In this football media enterprise, he assisted ex-NFL coaches and executives with content generation and formulating talking points for highly rated programs.

Mr. Sharma attended Dartmouth College, pursuing a quantitative social studies degree, and took on sideline assistant responsibilities with the football team. Throughout the games, he communicated with the offensive coach and head coach via headset, providing data-informed recommendations on plays in high-stakes fourth-down situations.

Mr. Sharma’s experience in sports extends to a past role as a training camp intern with the Los Angeles Rams, where he helped coordinate operations of one of the largest NFL training camps. Mr. Sharma is the author of Weighing U.S. Down, a book on America’s obesity epidemic that incorporates interviews with numerous public health and policy thought leaders.
